TCM Channel

My name is Ruby Greer, a resident of Inland Empire. Perris City is where Clarence Muse lived, which is in Inland Empire.

I am working with several nonprofit groups of Inland Empire who desire to see recognition of Clarence Muse. He did a lot for Hollywood and also for the city of Perris. I would like to see if any person from TCM would be interested in making a contribution for the cause of a Hollywood star or star monument, bust for him. We are struggling to get him recognized in the Inland Empire.

The Perris City Mayor Vargus has plans, but now with the economic struggle, it is hard for the city of Perris to put this in first place, but it is on their agenda. The city of Perris sent letters to several members of Hollywood and received no response. I am just a member of Inland Empire and saw all the great things Clarence Muse did. If you can help, I can direct them to someone in those groups.

Some of the members on the committee are past the age of 70 and would like the vision to come to pass. They were personal friends of Clarence Muse.

I have a question for TCM. I am paying for the TCM channel.

Clearly, I opted to pay for this channel because I enjoy classic films. What I am having a difficult time understanding is what is happening to your channel? Since before Halloween, there has been nothing on but film noir, movies about death, funerals, dark and horrid movies, and movies in color that barely resemble a 'classic film'. There has not been a single holiday movie not one classic holiday film since Halloween.

Why?

Why are you on the bandwagon to cancel Christmas or Holidays? You do understand customers are paying for this channel, right? You need to give customers what they pay for, what they watch for. There is no excuse for this disregard.

I don't care what agenda your network continues to have, paying customers are your bread and butter.

I am absolutely disgusted with your programming. It's progressively become worse and you are going to continue losing customers because your disregard of the paying customer will never propel profit or success!

You have these people narrating ahead of the next movie, making movie wines, self-promoting, all of this chaos and additional chatter; that is not what we are paying for! We want classic films!

Where are all the fantastic holiday films? I have yet to see Good Ole Summertime, Christmas in Connecticut, or Miracle on 34th etc.

I saw Good Ole Summertime a few times in the spring!? They used to run constantly for over a month before Christmas and now this has halted. For what? This is going to tank your ratings.

I have discussed this with many people who pay for this channel for the same reason I do, and I will say, we are on our way out.

There are plenty of other sources to watch those beautiful films, and you are no longer going to take my money for this madness!

How can you all follow this ridiculous cancel culture right down the drain? This is ignorant. You receive plenty of these complaints and what is changing? Nothing.

Because you are not listening to your customers. You cannot possibly believe this will grow your network? You don't even have half a million subs. Isn't that enough to open your ears?

I am not going to pay for this nonsense anymore. You are contributing to the demise of an amazing legacy of true Hollywood talent! You are censoring the incredible skill and passion of true acting and theatre. Why wouldn't you want to preserve that incredible legacy?

It's unbelievable to me. You are destroying your own network. You may not see that now, but nothing remains in the dark forever. Everything ultimately comes into the light eventually, and you have enough disappointed customers that it won't be long.

Even as I submit this, I am being prompted at the top of the page to purchase merchandise! Unreal.

Dear TCM, I am a faithful TCM subscriber and have enjoyed the program on TCM for many years. Having said this, I am getting tired of the liberal bias that the network has shown in recent years, especially in its preaching to the audience issues that are only embraced by those on the extreme Left.

I can't tell you how many times I've had to hear TCM hosts talk about the blacklist era and how unfair it was (indeed) to actors, directors, and producers for their political beliefs during that era and how they were blackballed. Given the current slant of Hollywood, why don't we ever hear of how conservative actors, directors, and producers are being blackballed by today's Hollywood for their political beliefs? If the network has any semblance of being fair (and maybe you don't really want to), it seems you would point out that the opposite is going on today and the culture is canceling all those who don't aspire to or lend lip service to the liberal culture that you preach to us on your network every chance you get. Pure hypocrisy if you ask me, but then again, today's liberals don't have any intention of fairness.

It's just all about winning. I think I'm done with this network and the indoctrination of the corrupt culture that you blab about every day!
